JNCRadio CS-818 is an antenna tuner, operates on 1.8-54MHz, 0.5-30-Watt.
It works also with any QRP radios, as long as you don’t drive the tuner with power more than its maximum limits.
Especially when you are using Yaesu FT-818/817, CS-818 makes the tuning process automatically. It has integration that controls the tuning process for FT-818/817 with the CAT cable supplied with the unit.
CS-818 features a 1.3” OLED display indicating the SWR and Power input readings. That means it can be used not only as a antenna tuner but also as a SWR meter, and a Power meter.
With its compact size(145mm x 115mm x 36mm, 0.5kg) and 50 hours battery life, CS-818 perfectly fits into QRP and portable usage though.
CS-818’s featured latching relays makes ultra-low power consumption possible. Even if the unit is turned off after tuning, the latching relays still hold their positions, thus your CS-818 is still working!
Alternatively, the unit can also be charged/powered through a 13.8v DC, or even simply a USB 5V Type-C power supply(your powerbank for instance).
The firmware of CS-818 is upgrade-able, users can always upgrade their firmwares by themselves once we have a new version of firmware.
