These mounts adjust to 3.15 in. / 8cm maximum and can be mounted to either a vertical or horizontal brace on your balcony and still adjust the antenna to vertical. Using these easy-to-install-and-remove mounts means no hole drilling.

PARTS THAT YOU NEED

 JMount-07  SUPER CLAMP

1234 are parts from the JPC-7 dipole antenna kit;

  • 1 – TRIPOD ADAPTOR
  • 2 – V BASE
  • 3 – 1:1 BALUN
  • 4 – M10 SCREW

5 is also a M10 bolt (4 and 5 are alternative, they do the same work, if you already own a 4/5 then you don’t need the other)

6 is radials from the JPC-12 vertical antenna kit; it is optional and you can have your own radial ideas
789 are included in both JPC-12 and JPC-7 antenna kits; no matter which antenna kit you have, you have these parts.
  • 7 – coil
  • 8 – four antenna arms
  • 9 – 2.5 meter telescopic whip

 

INSTALLATION

Brace anywhere:

Take this small tool out.

Assemble the tripod adaptor to the v-base, and then insert it into the bottom of the clamp

You want to secure the adaptor and make it stable afterwards
Install the antenna (antenna arms, coil and the telescopic whip) to the middle section of the v-base
Radials to either left or right end of the v-base, secured by m10 bolts; (it doesn’t matter which bolt you use)
Then comes the 1:1 balun – connect the red wire to the center(Antenna) and black wire to the side(Radials)
Now the antenna is ready to be set up in your balcony.（We are demonstrating the set up with a door handle, imagine it as a mounting solution in your balcony rail.） Rotate the handle of the mount to secure it to the railing
Connect your coax to the balun and you are ready to go!
Surface anywhere：

1.If the setup is to be installed on the surface of the desk, an additional small tool (included in the product) is required. Take this small tool out and place it into the groove of the mount clamp.

2.Rotate the handle in the opposite direction to tighten the mount, ensuring it is securely fixed to the desk.

3.Rotate the handle in the opposite direction to tighten the mount, ensuring it is securely fixed to the desk.

4. Note: There is a silver button next to the mount. Press it to insert the antenna’s base into place.

5.After inserting the antenna’s base, tighten the small screw to secure the antenna base more firmly onto the mount.

6. Next, follow the steps to install the antenna. You can mount it on a park tabletop or any flat panel on your patio!
