The CQ-K557 straight key and practice oscillator is perfect for morse code training and transmission. It delivers precise keying and clear tones, making it ideal for both practicing and sending accurate signals.
There is a switch at the top-right corner of the CQ-K557, with ON and OFF positions; when set to OFF, the paddle produces no sound.
There are also two silver knobs: the upper knob adjusts the keying amplitude, and the lower knob adjusts the spring tension. Note that these knobs do not adjust the volume or tone.
The base is made of mahogany with non-slip rubber pads; it’s lightweight（Only 230G） and easy to carry around
It can perform audio simulations, and the touch points can be adjusted; and can be used for training telegraph and telegraphy
When you want to do a train, you need to install a coin cell battery (No need to connect an audio cable). The practice oscillator emits a red light and sound
Note: Coin cell battery is not included in product set
When connecting to a radio, the audio cable connection can be used directly without installing a coin cell battery
When you want to install the straight key in the 6.5mm audio connector, you can use this 3.5mm female to 6.5mm male audio cable adaptor
