DESCRIPTION
We’re excited to introduce the KV4P-HT as a fully assembled, ready-to-use kit! Designed by Vance KV4P Vagell, this portable, open-source VHF radio kit transforms your Android phone into a handheld radio transceiver. For detailed insights, visit KV4P’s website.
At Chelegance, we’ve listened to feedback from enthusiasts who were excited about the KV4P-HT project but faced challenges such as:
- Sourcing quality components
- Ordering PCBs internationally
- Limited experience with 3D printing enclosures
- Soldering and assembly difficulties
- etc..
To address these hurdles, we’ve simplified the process by providing a ready-to-use kit that retains the original design without modifications. We’ve carefully sourced and tested the components to ensure the quality, making it easier for you to enjoy this innovative project hassle-free.
This kit features the 1.7b design version, and we’ll continue to update our kits as new versions are released by KV4P. Additionally, any future modifications we make will be open-sourced to contribute back to the community.
HOW TO USE
