M-104 is a super portable shortwave antenna that works on 7/14/21/28MHz bands with 50-watt PEP. With supplied 6-SIDED bolt M-104 can also be used in the 144/435MHz bands.

CHANGING OPERATING BANDS BY SWITCHING COILS. There are 4 coils with frequency stickers, simply switch to dedicate coil if you want to operate on certain band.

SUITABLE FOR IN-VEHICLE OPERATION: The antenna provides reliable performance in in-vehicle environments and is designed with adaptability in mind, allowing it to be easily mounted to a vehicle using a variety of options, such as roof-mounted, hood-mounted, or trunk-mounted, providing flexibility for different types and configurations of vehicles.

COMPREHENSIVE FREQUENCY COVERAGE: The antenna kit supports four bands in the shortwave spectrum and has a 6-SIDED BOLT to support U/V RANGE, which can be used in different frequency bands to ensure compatibility with various communication systems.

MORE COMPREHENSIVE  RADIALS： Customers may not achieve optimal performance or find it difficult to adjust the SWR because of insufficient grounding. For use in a car, we recommend purchasing our additional accessory (magnetic ground mat) for better results.

All the components are packed with a 180*110*30mm plastic box which makes it very easy to be carried by operators for field operation.

  • Is the antenna waterproof, is it usable it rains?

Yes it is usable in rain – The antenna parameter would change if it’s wet though – It applies not only but also for all antennas when they are getting wet.

  • Why my resonant frequency is higher and how can i tune it down?

You should revisit your counterpoise set up. A good counterpoise is important for M-104. If you are using radials as counterpoise, You can use them with supplied ring terminals – At least 1 radial is needed above 14MHz, and more than 3 radials is recommended on 7MHz.

  • I use a multimeter to test and figured the center conductor and the shield are shorted – Is my antenna defective?

Rest assured – It’s our unique design in the base and yes it will indicate as shorted if you use a multimeter to test the center and the shield. No worries it is not a defective unit.
